As Dawn of new year arrived in Sri Lankan president Hon Mahinda Rajapaksha declared a humanitarian pause to this on going military operation and advised Armed forces to halt their military onslaught on LTTE rebels in order to let Tamil civilians to reach army control areas, Needless to say that LTTE rebels infiltrated in a remote area of eastern part of sri lankan village and killed 9 innocent civilians on cold blood, furthermore LTTE shelled Army forward defense lines
