Puthukkudiyiruppu school is open again
The people who were rescued from the grip of terrorists are being continuously provided relief with. The school in the Puthukkudiyiruppu.
Village has also been re-opened. This Government school at Puthukkudiyiruppu was retaken in the humanitarian operation one year ago. The 595th Brigade of the Sri Lanka Army took the initiative in this connection. Commander of the Brigade
Lt. Col. G.D. Sooriyabandara said that the school was used by the terrorists as an administration centre.
He also recalled that children were forcibly taken away from the school for conscription.
