Permanently disabled War Heroes get a Wellness Resort

Permanently disabled War Heroes get a Wellness Resort

www.defence.lk">Brave Hearts', the project that provides a lifeline to the dependent War Heroes who became permanently disabled for the rest of their lives, is set to launch its Wellness Resort construction work with its foundation laying ceremony, fixed for May 15. This Wellness Resort is names 'Abimansala' reports the Army.
Seva Vanitha Army Branch (SVAB), headed by Mrs Manjulika Jayasuriya, President SVAB, the pioneers behind the worthy project, is overwhelmingly pleased to record the unstinted support the project has received so far from worldwide philanthropists, well wishers and patriots who are highly concerned and considerate towards the well-being of those true sons of the soil who sacrificed their limbs for the sovereignty of the motherland.
Donations to the 'Brave Hearts' continued to flow and are still reaching the Army. Some donors and philanthropists having offered their share of goodwill prefered to remain anonymous. Those marvelous and unparalleled gestures of goodwill and kind-heartedness symbolize the enormous warmth, respect, affection and concern all those donors harbour in their hearts for our beloved defenders of the nation says the Army.
Upon completion of the main construction, funds are still needed to buy physiotherapy and medical equipment to the 'Abimansala' at a cost of some Rs. 50 m for the use of those disabled soldiers. The SVAB while once again saluting all your gestures wishes to have more assistance in the future for the sake of making the entire project a great success.
Ground preparation work for the project has already begun as shown in the photo according to the official army web.
