377 more IDPs resettled in Mullaittivu Another batch of Internally Displaced Civilians temporally sheltered due to war against LTTE terrorists have been resettled their native places in Mullaittivu district yesterday, 20th November.
Accordingly, 377 members of 121 families were resettled in Inaranapali Grama Niladari area in Pudukkudiyirippu Government Agent (GA) division of Mullaittivu district.
377 civilians comprising 196 males and 181 females, who were temporally sheltered in Manik Farm welfare center, resettled in their native places immediately after completing the de-mining activities.
The Mine Action Office of UNDP has also given required mine clearance authority before the resettlement.
68 Division of Security Forces Headquarters Mullaittivu provided all facilities for those civilians resettled
