Nab those aiding and abetting LTTE - Eksath Lanka Maha Sabha
Eksath Lanka Maha Sabha in a letter to President Mahinda Rajapaksa have made a proposal that to consolidate the victory over the LTTE is by exposing the real war criminals who were behind the LTTE, whereby justice would be rendered to the nation.
The decisive victory of the Sri Lanka Armed Forces over the LTTE terrorists is used by the LTTE activists living in the Western countries, to cast allegations of war crimes against the Sri Lanka leaders.
The LTTE Diaspora continues to collect funds to buy up officials in Western countries to purse malicious allegations of war crimes.
Robert O Blake, the Asst. Secretary of US in South Asia, has visited Sri Lanka six times since the defeat of the LTTE terrorists and each time he visited he has called for investigations of war crimes.
He has met TNA politicians, Tamil youth groups, anti-Sri Lanka INGOs to carry his allegations at every opportunity interfering in the internal affairs of this country.
Senior Attorney S.L. Gunasekera commenting on statements made by Robert O Blake at the end of his recent visit, points out that the "Looming danger of the United States assuming to itself the role of the global policeman; the global arbiter of what is right and what is wrong and how other countries should be governed and in short becoming the global ruler dictating to independent and sovereign countries such as Sri Lanka which are small and impoverished about how ever should run our affairs".
He has further pointed out that "unless all small countries such as Sri Lanka unite to oppose this kind of arrogant meddling in their internal affairs by the minions of Obama and his elderly subordinates in the State Department, we the small and independent countries are in real danger of being submerged by American Imperialism."
The Darusman Report, called by secretary General of the UN is proved to be a fiction based on false representations made by the defeated LTTE rump, is paraded as proof of war crimes, committed by Sri Lanka by interested parties. The video called the 'Killing Fields of Sri Lanka' made by the JDC Organisation in Germany, based on distorted facts supplied by LTTE operatives has become the focus of BBC Channel 4 and INGOs such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Care, Forut as INGOs financed by the Western corporate sector.
Wikileaks has exposed that the US Ambassador for Sri Lanka, Patricia Butenis, has met Karu Jayasuriya, deputy leader of the UNP and Sarath Fonseka, the Presidential candidate put up against Mahinda Rajapaksa, a few days prior to the Presidential Elections, which amounts to interference in our internal affairs. Under similar conditions a former Ambassador of UK David Gladstone has been declared persona non grata, during President Premadasa reign.
Joining the Western power chorus, the Prime Minister of Canada, has gone to the extent of asking Sri Lanka to be expelled from the British Commonwealth.
These expose in no uncertain terms the intention of the Western countries to punish the Sri Lanka government for defeating the LTTE whom they nurtured and built up as a long-term objective to create foothold in the Indian Ocean, by dividing Sri Lanka after creating a State of Tamil Eelam.
Setting up INGOs has been a strategy of Western powers as a part of neo colonialism to create lawlessness in former colonial countries under the guise of nurturing Human Rights. There are about 4,000 such INGOs operating worldwide under the UN umbrella. They operate with funds made available by the Western multinational corporations such as Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Rhodes Foundation, Westminster Foundation, Hewlet Packard Foundation, Coco Cola, Lehman Brothers etc. intent on countering socialism under the guise of introducing multi party democracy. Some INGOs have annual budgets of over US $ 150 million which are used to breed large scale corruption at all levels in developing countries.
The modus oeparandi seems to be to create dissension and rebellion against governments that are not favourable to the West.
INGOs manipulated Human Rights issues in Cuba, Ghana, Yugoslavia, Chile, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Sudan, Pakistan, India, Somalia, Congo, Venezuela, East Germany, China etc to cause disruption and destabilisation.
The caste issue among Sri Lankan Tamils and Sinhala have been used as an issue to destabilize the country for three decades. A whole group of INGOs, the Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Alternate Policy Council, National Peace Council, Red Cross, Red Barna, Forut, Oxfam Norad, SIDA CIDA, Danish Refugee Council, have operated in Sri Lanka, pushing minority groups to rebellion and terrorism. Two rebellions in 1971 and 1987 led by the JVP have destabilised many governments.
A three decade long terrorists campaign from 1976 to 2009 was led by the LTTE and a whole lot of other militant Tamil separatist groups. The INGOs had been the brains behind such terrorists.
Today, after the Sri Lanka Government liberated the country from the LTTE terrorists, the INGOs and Western powers are accusing the leaders of the government for eliminating terrorists on grounds of Human Rights.
The hypocrisy on the part of those who preach democracy and human rights to extend their hegemony is most apparent.
