'Baila Kiyannepa' is a Sri Lankan colloquial originated in the days of Portuguese occupation used to state, enough or to end one's continuity of words of nonsense. Similarly, the scant repetition of nonsense by some western media outlets its local beneficiaries including 'self-appointed' duplicitous saviors of humanity deserves such critique.
The Channel-4 canard, subsequent flaming of controversy by Philip Alston-UN Special Rapporteur, Grant Fedrick's - '...no evidence analysis' and the furor by Yolanda Foster of Amnesty International towing the fault-lines drawn by the 'cult-of-three's' panel facade calls for serious concerns for a population of over 20million, resiliently witnessing an unfolding hypocrisy to deny a long won peace against all odds.
Indeed crimes if committed at any scale should be dealt accordingly, yet the use of systematic coercion against a state actor to accept baseless allegation of war crimes in the absence of a non-state ruthless perpetrator is insanity in its crudest form.
The startling revelation made by the former Mullaittivu GA, Mrs. Imelda Sukumar, speaking at the Colombo Defence symposium recently- receiving of constant intimidations by key LTTE terrorists, prohibiting dissemination of actual facts and figures in Wanni to concerned authorities including the government, ICRC and UN offices is direct evidence on the intents and brutality of LTTE and its perpetrated crimes.

Video footage of LTTE terrorists shooting Tamil civilians fleeing during the final days.

Her evidence itself would have been enough for the concerned saviors of humanity and human rights, as Mrs. Imelda Sukumar was serving as the Mullaittivu GA for constant eight years under the LTTE tyranny. Indeed, Channel- 4 'wonder boys' and the misfits of humanity, doped by their own darts of fallacy needs to brave onto the grounds of reality as many more would testify the horrendous experiences under LTTE in Wanni. "Security forces were well disciplined and they served with love and respect to the people. My people, the people in Wanni all were safe guarded by the government security forces," stated the former Mullaittivu GA, giving lie to allegations of 'war crimes'.
In an article posted in May, 2009 by Rosie Stembo, an opinion writer to defence.lk, questions the authenticity and intent of 'Channel-4' reporting. "Does Channel 4 maintain a code of ethics in journalism by admitting they did an act stealthily? If so they could do many more! We can now gauge their authenticity when they report on human rights" concludes Stembo in the opinion view critically referring to the vague reportage by Channel-4 on 'displaced persons' in Sri Lanka.
Ironically, following a break of 7 months the 'wonder boys' of Channel- 4, cries foul, alleging Sri Lanka of 'war crimes' as perpetrated during the final days of Prabakaran and his internationally proscribed terrorist outfit. Indeed, Stembo had scored a 'bull's eye' in the critical view point on Channel-4 and its guised intent.

Video evidence of a Tamil woman of her horrifying experience under LTTE tyranny

According to the Jonathan Miller's 'report' on 15th December, 2009, the scavenger media outlet, Channel -4, had received the 'disturbing' video footage on 25th August 2009, from a group identifying themselves -
'Journalist for Democracy in Sri Lanka (JDS)'. Indeed, it is worthy to note the individuals under the pretext of JDS were the same Sunanda's, Deshapriya's and Jayantha's, renowned doomsayers and dollar vultures who prospered when thousands suffered under the LTTE jackboot.
The 'video clip' does not stand the test of scientific examination has already been clearly stated, according to Siri Hewawitharana who is one of the world's leading experts on digital video systems and former head of Cisco's Global Broadcast and Digital Video Practice division in Australia.
Hence, it is time for the Channel-4, and the clan of hypocrites hell-bent at depleting the progressive reconciliation taking place in liberated areas of Wanni and North to rid the foul-'Baila' play and make a conscious effort for a true appraisal.
