Rehabilitated youth reintegrate
900 rehabilitated Tamil youth in Pompamadu and Punethottam rehabilitation centres were reintegrated to the society in a special function held at Vavuniya cultural centre on 5th June 2011.
Rehabilitation and Prison Reforms Minister Chandrasiri Gajadeera, Youth Affairs and Skill Development Minister Dalas Alahapperuma and MP for the Parliament Mr. Namal Rajapaksa were the chief guests of the event.
After presenting the 'Tamil Bakthi Gee' by the rehabilitated youth, they were awarded their vocational traning certificates by Chief Guests.
Rehabilitation Commission General Maj. Gen. Sudantha Ranasinghe, 211 Brigade Commander - Brigadier T.M.S.A. Pallemulle, Brigadier GS - Brigadier AP de Z Wickramarathna, Government Agent Vavuniya, Mrs. P.S.M. Charles, Rehabilitation Ministrie's Officials and relatives of the rehabilitated ex-LTTE cadres were also participated in this event.
