Namal Rajapaksa MP visits ex-LTTE combatants in Mullaittivu

Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa on his recent visit to Mullaittivu district met ex-LTTE combatants who have been reintegrated to the society after completing comprehensive training program conducted by the government. Over 1800 ex-LTTE combatants, who are leading a successful life after being rehabilitated, participated at the function held on 13th July.
Addressing the gathering parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa said that the government is taking much effort to find more employment opportunities for rehabilitated ex-LTTE combatants. "Government is to provide financial assistance to those who willing to commence self employment", he further said.
Agricultural equipments, seeds, fertilizers and many other equipments were distributed among ex-combatants those who engaged in self employment as a measure to strengthen their livelihood.
Commander of Security Forces Mullaittivu Maj. General L.B.R Mark, Rehabilitation Commissioner General Maj. General Sudantha Ranasinghe, top level government officials and police officers also participated at the occasion.
