A delegation from the People's Republic of China led by its Foreign Ministry Deputy Director Zhang Ze visited Sri Lanka recently on the invitation of the Sri Lanka Government to assist the de-mining process in the North.
They met the Economic Development Ministry Provincial Development Assistant Secretary Nihal Somaweera, National De-mining Unit Director Monty Ranatunga and other officials and held talks, an Economic Development Ministry official told the Daily News.
