Rehabilitated LTTE cadres sit GCE A Level exam

Three hundred and fifty five rehabilitated LTTE cadres are sitting the GCE Advance Level Exam this year.
Commissioner General of Rehabilitation Brigadier Sudatta Ranasinghe said that they are sitting the exam from Arts, Commerce and Math streams.
Brigadier Sudantha Ranasinghe said that 244 boys and 111 girls who have been rehabilitated are sitting the exam at the Vavuniya Tamil Primary School.
Out of the 244 boys 162 are sitting from the Arts stream while 57 from the Commerce, 10 from Biology and 17 from Maths. Out of the 111 girls 87 are sitting from the Arts stream. 13 are from the Commerce stream, nine from Biology and two from Maths.
He said that the Education Ministry has held special classes and seminars for their benefit and it is expected that all of them will pass the exam.
