The Victory Parade that was postponed due to the inclement weather which prevailed last month will be held on June 18 at the Galle Face Green with the participation of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Three Forces Commanders, IGP and Director General of the Civil Defence Force.
"Thousands of troops from the three Forces, police and the Civil Security Force will march in the parade representing the theatres in the Northern and Eastern battlefronts as planned earlier", Military Spokesman Major General Prasad Samarasinghe said.
