Mullaitivu ready for resettlement after Demining
Programmes mooted to create the background for civilian life de-mining Mullaitivu and its environs are successful.
The surroundings of the Mullaitivu Hospital has already been de-mined.
It spans 34,229 square metres. The media was recently appraised in Mullaitivu about the programmes that are being launched by the Security Forces in this respect.
Members of the Sri Lanka Army are engaged in this uphill task with the use of de-mining machines provided by the Australian Government.
It is their belief that all explosives can soon be removed for the preparation of the background for the displaced civilians to be resettled.
